Over 600 people gathered last week for the memorial prayer at the family of Êlate Lainya County Judge James Lasu Ramadala in Mukaya payam.
Lainya County Commissioner Huda Michael Laila said the death of James Lasu created a gap in the county, Radio Easter reported.She added that since the death of James Lasu, Lainya County Court was left without a judge.
Elder John kumuri said late James Lasu was a freedom fighter in Anyanya I movement before he was appointed as the second class magistrate.
He added that Lainya County has lost a great man.
