Sudanese warplanes dropped 17 bombs over different villages of Buram County in Nuba Mountains.
SPLM-North spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said one person was killed by the shelling carried out by Antonov airplanes.He said Ibrahim Ibrra Al Tieb, 60, died when a bomb hit Toroge village on March 31 at 11:00 AM.
On April 1, two bombs were dropped on Al Ganaya village, another two on Fama, one on Toroge, one on Angolo, one on Adar and four hit Jebel Kua.
No casualties were reported.
Mr Lodi said a house was destroyed on the next day when Toroge was targeted by five bombs along with Buram village, which was hit by one bomb.
He pointed out that hundreds of thoiusands continue to suffer in Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains because the corrupt regime in Khartoum denies civilians food, medicine and education and uses delaying tactics to increase their suffering.
