The Commissioner of Yei River County in Central Equatoria told students to respect teachers in order to learn while pursuing their studies at all levels of academic transformation.
Commissioner Juma David Augustine visited Nile High Secondary School on Wednesday morning, Radio Easter reported.He told hundreds of students to value their instructors.
Mr Juma said success comes from the effort to learn something new every day.
He told the students to cultivate a spirit of nationalism in order to build a national identity.
Mr Juma also appealed to the students to stick to learning and resist external influences from friends without the same goals in order to succeed in their studies.
The county commissioner cautioned students to take personal note on the increase of HIV AIDS infections.
Mr Juma said the virus is highly contagious among the youth.
