Upper Nile State Wildlife Services forces caught fourteen bundles of hunting meat from an army middle rank officer.

Wildlife Services Administrator Officer in Malakal William Kaliej Twang said rangers found one army Captain bringing hunting meat from Luongocok County to Malakal, Voice of Love reported.

He said the SPLA officer was violating the laws of the Wildlife Services.

Colonel Kaliej said the meat apprehended belonged to 112 animals.

He asked his forces to continue protecting wild animals in Upper Nile State while urging the armed forces to respect the law and not to destroy wild life.
