The United Democratic Front or UDF on Monday brought together its members in Juba, Kator and Munuki payams for an orientation workshop on the party’s activities since independence to prepare the extraordinary convention.
Central Equatoria State chairperson Kamilo Bye Bye said the workshop enabled the party to organise its extraordinary convention due this month, Bakhita Radio reported.He added that this was the second meeting to upgrade the activities of UDF agents and supporters in various places.
Mr Bye Bye said insecurity was rampart in Juba and in the whole country and the Government was unable to stop it.
He called on the ruling party to stand up and correct the security situation in the country by preparing proper security agents to protect the life of citizens.
The UDF State Chairperson condemned tribalism, nepotism, corruption and cattle raids.
Mr Bye Bye said UDF will try to make sure that all the bad things happening in the country are corrected by the Government although the party is not part of it.
