Morobo County Commissioner held a meeting with the UN Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS-Police on Tuesday to discuss the training of community police in the County.
Commissioner Moses Simon Soro said community policing would increase trust between the officers and residents to work together in detecting and preventing crime, the county pressman told CRN via e-mail.Mr Soro added that the partnership between community police and residents would improve proper constructive social relations and greater cohesion to enhance trust and confidence between the community and the police in reporting events.
