The manager of Nile Water Bottling Factory in Rumbek said he was getting a big headache from the youth he is employing to work at the factory because they prefer office to physical work.

Habtom Ghazael told Good News Radio that the employees are reducing at the water bottling plant because many educated youths want to sit back in office although there were not enough vacancies for those jobs.

He said the water company needs to employ as many manual workers as possible.

The manager added that some employees were also hungry for quick promotions but the promotion policy was progressive.

Mr Habton said insecurity around Rumbek often disrupted work at the factory as many of the employees ran back to villages to protect their families or for fear of revenge.

The Nile Water Bottling Manager resisted the order to sell a half-litre bottle for one pound arguing that the high price of fuel affects water production directly.
