Militiamen allied with the Khartoum Government have killed one child and injured another three people in Al-Hamam of Heiban County, Nuba Mountains, on the early hours of Sunday.
An eyewitness said the militiamen attacked cattle keepers in the remote area during the night, killing one child and looting a number of cows.He added that SPLA-N soldiers were in the vicinity but were unable to prevent the attack.
The eyewitness said the militia force might have come from Dondor, in the Government controlled territory.
Sudan Government militias have intensified their attacks killing and looting in Nuba Mountains.
