The Sudanese government confiscated books from an Anglican Church Bookshop in Bahri, Khartoum, and closed down its centre in Central Khartoum.
Sources from Khartoum told CRN that the security forces came with a truck and emptied the bookshop that sold mostly Christian literature and took the books away.
They also did the same at downtown Khartoum library and closed it down.
The government arrested Philemon Hassan on Monday, a well known Christian songs writer and singer from Nuba Mountains.
His whereabouts are not known.
