Community-Based-Organisations or CBOs have called on nongovernmental organisations or NGOs to be transparent and accountable.
The call came during the official opening of a one-day CBO forum on “Warrap reconstruction for peace, and human security project” in Kuajok.Participants have expressed their concern that NGOs were not exercising the spirit of transparency and accountability when implementing projects in various communities.
The participants also called for team work by involving communities and the Government in all projects of the World Vision and other development partners.
Minister for Local Government Victor Atem praised the works of the World Vision in South Sudan since the liberation struggle.
World Vision Regional Program Manager urged the participants to join hands with the World Vision.
The workshop that brought together participants from all five counties of Warrap state was organized by World Vision International.
