The health department of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio on Thursday handed over four health facilities to the communities of Nzara County.
Diocesan Health Manager Nicholas Womuapoi Baabe appreciated CORDAID for funded the construction of the Primary Health Care Units in Riingasi, Kpasua, Sangua and Nambia, in Nzara County Ð Anisa Radio reported.State Director for Primary Health Care Marko Wanga Bilal thanked the Catholic Church and the Basic Service Fund for supporting the Government of Western Equatoria in the health sector.
Nzara Commissioner Elia Richard Box expressed his happiness for the good services rendered by the Catholic Church to the communities of Nzara.
He urged the International Medical Corp to cooperate with the county authorities and deliver their best to the communities.
International Medical Corp is the new organisation taking over health services in Nzara County.
