The Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Juba has rebuked the Church for its inability to construct a house for streets kids and orphans.
Santo Loku Pio said it was not good for the Church that preaches charity, love and forgiveness to live as if there were no children suffering in the capital, Bakhita Radio reported.Bishop Loku added that although the Government was constructing a house for street kids the Church should have its own.
He said it was a shame for the Church Ð and specially the Catholic Church Ð not to have a home for disadvantaged children.
Bishop Loku said the community should establish the home for street children and support them with surplus of money, food and cloths.
He called on the faithful to proclaim their faith through words and action.
Bishop Loku was preaching his Sunday sermon at Saint Theresa’s Cathedral-Kator in Juba.
