At least 98 people repented from their sins during the Fifth ECS Central Equatoria Revival Convention in Lainya celebrated under the theme “What I would heal Israel, the sins of Ephraim are exposed.”
Yei ECS Bishop Hillary Luate Adeba officially closed the convention, Radio Easter reported.He said it was important to have a national training policy for revival evangelical leaders in order to build the capacity of the Church.
Anglican Global Vice President of the Revival Convention in America Paul Richard Eson appealed to the people of South Sudan to repent from their sins for God to pardon them and lead them to the spiritual building of the nation.
Lainya County Commissioner Huda Michael Laila said the convention would bring great changes to the people of Lainya since the first ECS convention in the new nation was held in the county.
She said the Renewal Convention was a blessing to her, to the people of Lainya County and to the nation at large.
