The Catholic bishop of Yei said on Wednesday evening that the visit of two nuns to his diocese was a very important event.
The two sisters from the Charity Missionary Society were in Yei studying the possibility to open a community in the area, Radio Easter reported.Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said the nuns arrived on Monday and on Tuesday they had meeting with some Church personnel to see the needs of the diocese.
Bishop Lodu said the diocese needed support from other organizations.
He added that he was going to write an official request for the congregation to open a community in Yei.
