The state minister for Local Government Albert Pitia Redentore said the main objective was to bring Commissioners together to realise the linkage between the commissioners and the ministers.
Mr Pitia said the forum would improve the local government system because some commissioners are not delivering services to their people in the counties.
Central Equatoria state governor’s representative, Paul Lodu Bureng explained that they plan to construct two schools in Yei and three others in Juba to reduce congestion in classes.
Professor Lodu said the forum’s commitment will look into roads, agriculture, education and health.
The forum that is expected to end on Saturday, brought together commissioners, state ministers, the religious, NGOs and community based organizations from the six counties of the state.
