Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit the said Christmas preparation does not mean showing of muscles or threatening people with guns, which disrupt people’s peaceful celebrations.
Fr. Sebit also called on people to change their attitude because it is time for change from the wrong activities of robbing people’s property. He also advised the congregation to cultivate the attitude of peace in the community.
Fr Sebit said that Christ offered himself because He wants for all his people to be free.
He further lamented the way some military officers and organized forces threaten the civilians at gun point making people to fear.
Fr. Sebit made this comments on Sunday while presiding over the Eucharistic celebration at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
