Torit County Commissioner has told people to stop bathing openly by the roadside along Kineti River.
William Oyet Omoro said the practice is shameful and parents bathing in the same place with their children increase immorality and other offenses.Mr Oyet said women responded positively when asked to stop bathing openly in Kineti River while men did not until the state used law enforcement officers.
The Commissioner appealed to people to stop bathing at Kineti River along Juba road.
Torit County Commissioner issued a directive to stop bathing at Kineti River following a resolution from Parliament to outlaw activities that cause health hazard to the people.
