The Council of Ministers on Friday has expressed deep condolences to the family of the late journalist Isaiah Abraham who was killed in Gudele on Wednesday.
Government spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin told journalists in Juba that the Council have expressed shocked and deep condolences on the killing of columnist Isaiah Abraham.He said the killing has shocked the country and its leadership.
Dr Marial said President Salva Kiir on Thursday ordered the Ministers of Interior, Defence and National Security to immediately investigate the killing and bring the perpetrators to book.
Dr Marial added that the Deputy Interior Minister has revealed to the council that the ongoing investigation indicates that 70 percent of the killing is an assassination.
Dr Marial explained that investigation will continue until the Ministries of Interior, National Security and Defence identify the killers.
