South Sudan Human Rights Commission has developed a policy documents that is expected to expose the national agenda on human rights activities.

Anei Adik Arop, South Sudan Human Rights Chairperson said the commission has already developed the human rights documents and exposed it to clusters of concerns.

He said the documents now need to be forwarded to the national Legislative Assembly for ratification.

Mr Adik said his commission has the mandate to lobby and advice the institutions concerned with the affairs of citizens.

He added that rampant killing had become a common phenomenon in South Sudan and that the Commission cannot identify who is behind the killing.

Mr Adik said the Commission is going to lobby with the Ministry of Interior to scrutinise all the foreigners in the country through their embassies.

The Commission in partnership with UNMISS Human Rights and the High Commissioner for Human Rights are organizing a forum prior to the commemoration of the International Human Rights Day on Monday.
