WAU YOUTH DISMISS TRIBALISM ALLEGATIONS

Youth of Wau County have dismissed allegations of tribalism assuring their peaceful co-existence and acceptance to other tribes in Wau.

The youth maintained their position in rejecting County Transfer to Baggari Payam.

This comes during the press conference held by youth to brief the public about their position and deny being accused of tribalism on the county headquarters transfer.

Juluis Flario Osman, member of the youth committee revealed to Voice of Hope Radio that they reject their dispute to be judged as inciting tribalism over the issue of transfer.

He said that they are waiting for the state Assembly to resolve the matter in legal ways.

Mr Flario appreciated women and public in particular in the County for rejecting all ways of violence expressions.

Anthony Sokouni, chairman of the committee welcomed the appointment of the new commissioner and that they are waiting for the Commissioner to meet the community to join hands to realize development in the County.

Youth are ready to welcome the new Commissioner as a son of their county but they repeated rejection of the County transfer.
