EXMINATIONS DELAY IN EASTERN EQUATORIA

The start of Sudan School Certificate ExaminationsÊ on Monday delayed for about three hours in Eastern Equatoria State due to missing papers.

The Director-General in the State Ministry of Education, Adelio Quinto, Geography paper one was missing in envelops.

He said the ministry received two envelops for the examinations of Geography, Paper Two.

Mr Quinto told Radio Emmanuel that the state ministry later received a soft copy of the examination questions from juba through E-mail to print for students.

he said the candidates at affected schools were locked up in the examination room waiting for the papers.

About 567 students have today started their Sudan School Certificate Examination at 17 centers in Eastern Equatoria state.

Meanwhile, in Budi, the Commissioner, Maurice Kaunda reports that 48 candidates sitting examination the County started without any disturbance.

Ikwoto County has 46 candidates sitting at two centres of St. Mathew and St. Augustine Secondary Schools.

The Examinations end on the December 17.
