Retired Bishop of African Inland Church (AIC) has died of stroke on Thursday after long illness died.
AIC Assistant Bishop for East Bank, Rev. Sarefino Oseeki Modesto told Radio Emmanuel that the late retired Bishop Thomas Lohima was on life support for three months at Hospital in Nairobi before his death.Rev. Oseeki said the late Bishop Lohima was the first native Bishop of African Inland Church from 1984 till his retirement.
He said since the late Bishop joined the missionaries of the African Inland Church in his childhood and grew up servicing of God.
Rev. Oseeki said late Bishop Thomas Lohima is remembered for his interventions in peace building and conflict resolution among SPLA factions during the liberation struggle.
