Unknown gunmen on Monday morning shot a truck driver at a place commonly known as “Free Lodge” along Tseretenya √ɬêIkwoto road.
The driver sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at Isohe Mission Hospital.The truck driver identified as Ugandan was transporting grains from Kitgum to Camp-15 in Budi County.
Mr. Kagunga Ali the truck driver who sustains a gun shot at his waist told Radio Emmanuel that his truck conductor was not injured.
The attack comes a day after six people were killed and two others wounded at Chorokol Payam by a man believed to have acted under influence of alcohol.
