The European Film Festival kicked off in Juba on Friday evening with two films from Norway and France.
This year’s festival features 14 films from nine European countries: France, Norway, Spain, Denmark, Sweeden, Italy, Germany, UK and Netherlands.EU ambassador Sven K√Ö¬∏hn von Burgsdorff said the Film Festival serves as a contribution to strengthening the cultural dimension of the close partnership between Europe and South Sudan.
The movies are being screened at the University of Juba grounds from November 23 to December 1 for free.
Every evening there are two films on show at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM.
