Aweil East teachers are calling on Northern Bahr El Ghazal Government and aid agencies to establish schools for street children.
The call was made during an in-service training program for teachers in Bouth Yar training centre, Internews reported.Polino Kuol Kuol, a teacher from Adut Adhot Primary School, advised parents to prevent children from going to the streets.
Aweil is one of the state capitals with a very high number of street children.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
