Physically impaired people got together to review the association’s Constitution to enable the offer of better services.

Luis Ladu Federico, who chairs the association, told Bakhita Radio that the Constitution is 27 years old and ineffective to deliver services to the membership.

He added that the executive was reviewing the text to propose key amendments to be passed by the General Assembly.

Mr Ladu said the revised Constitution facilitates the administration of the association and extends its service to persons with physical disability in Central Equatoria.

He said the new charter follows the Transitional Constitution of South Sudan.

Mr Ladu said each state should form its own association for persons with disability.
