Cattle raiders attacked Peth cattle camp in the Manyangok Payam killing one community police officer, injuring five others and disappeared with 400 heads of cattle, in Tonj South County, Warrap State.

The Commissioner of Tonj South County Mario Monydhieth Gor told Don Bosco Radio that the attack took place around 4 PM in Manyangok Payam.

He said that the police caught two of the attackers and they are now being kept in the prison.
Mr Gor said the police will pursue the attackers and bring them to justice.
He urged all the citizens of Tonj not to follow the cattle or the raiders but to allow the police and authorities handle the situation.
