MERCY SISTERS VISIT JUBA ARCHDIOCESE

Two Australian sisters of Mercy visited the Archdiocese of Juba to access the living conditions of the people and their culture.

Janet Woods said she visited South Sudan so that she understands and learned the culture of the South Sudanese for helping South Sudan Diaspora in Australia.

She said most of the women that she helped in Australia, had told her a lot about the situation of South Sudan.

Sr. Woods added that she is amazed at the development that is going on in the new country.

Carlene Allen said she is touched to see all that is happening in South Sudan and will enable her to carry a message of hope to South Sudanese in Australia.

She said she is so amazed to see South Sudanese working hard in meeting challenges.

The two sisters will be heading to Aweil and Wau later this week.
