The Governor of Western Bar El Ghazal State has dismissed the claims of Wau communities that Wau County headquarter should not be transfer to Bagari.
Rizik Zakariah Hassan told the press on Friday in Juba that moving Wau headquarters was an implementation of the constitution and the SPLM vision of taking services to the people.He said the national and the state constitution spell clearly that city, Municipality and are to be based within the town while County, Payam and Boma to be relocated to rural areas.
Mr Zakariah accused the commissioner of taking a negative moved to blackmail the public on the relocation process.
He added that a lot of efforts were made in sensitising the communities to restored calms.
Mr Zakariah said state have to implement the constitutions after enacting into law.
Many Communities in Wau blamed the governor for transferring Wau County headquarter to Bagari.
