Residents of Kauda in Nuba Mountains are urging the international community to pressurize the Sudanese Government to stop dropping bombs on civilians.

Sudanese Air forces have been bombing civilian targets in SPLM-N controlled areas since the outbreak of war in June of 2011.

Ê

A resident said the random air bombardments are meant to terrorized people by targeting schools, farms and market.

He added that the Government wants to destroy the people of Nuba Mountains.

Another resident also urged the international community to stand firm and press the Khartoum Government to end the terror campaign against Nuba Mountains.

He added that bombs killed thousands of innocent lives, destroyed farms and burnt crops.

Another resident said the aerial bombing aimed at destroying nature.

He called upon the international community to stop aerial assault against Nuba people.

The residents who declined to be named made the remarks following Wednesday’s intensive aerial attack which took place in Kauda.
