A group of students from Rumbek National Secondary School on Friday night terrorized their colleagues at the dormitory premises.
Headmaster Abel Manyuon Juk told Good News Radio that an armed gang of students attacked the dormitory at 100 AM and beat up a student who was admitted to the hospital.They also stole belongings from fellow students before they escaped.
Mr Manyoun said the case is being handled by the security.
He said students should not to use the school as battle ground.
The Headmaster urged students to behave like educated people.
Mr Manyoun said the school would not close over the incident.
He added that the students that belonged to the gang would be dismissed.
Mr Manyoun appealed to the students to keep calm and prepare for the upcoming National Exam that takes place on November 14.
This was the second time Rumbek National Secondary School was in trouble this year due to stuents’ violence.
