Yei Payam Public Health officer has warned traders about selling government drugs in private pharmacies.
Taban Juma told Radio Easter that drug shops were buying and selling government medicines in Yei.He warned that if the office of the public health caughts some trading government drugs she or he would face the law.
Mr Juma said selling government medicines in private outlets caused shortages in the hospital and clinics in the Country.
He revealed that some drug shops were selling expired medicines placing public heath at risk.
Mr Juma said drug shops needed to be managed by experienced and qualified people who were no after money but valued the lives of their clients.
The Public Health Officer announced Friday that the office will keep on monitoring drug shops from time to time in order to avoid the sale of government or expired drugs.
