Twenty young girls are taking part in the first round of the seventh edition of Miss Malaika South Sudan next Saturday in Juba.
Chief organizer Lam Tungwur told journalists in a press conference on Friday in Juba that the 20 contestants underwent one-month training to be ready for the beauty pageant.The 20 beauties will compete for 12 places in the Miss Malaika final round on December 8.
A mobile provider is paying for posters, flyers, media promotion and the construction of the stage.
Vivacell’s Assistant Managing Director Jago Adongjak said the company took exclusive sponsorship out of love of the young women and the country.
The event takes place at Juba’s Nyakuron Cultural Centre.
