A number of students from Rumbek National School have called upon the administration to avail the uniforms they paid for.
Mathew Maguek Mading, who chairs the committee formed in Senior Four, told Good News Radio on Tuesday that the headmaster ordered to stop teaching until all students wore full school uniform. He said the students were not wearing the uniforms because the school administration did not distribute them although they paid for them.
Headmaster Abel Manyuon Jok said the complaint was a baseless excuse from students who refuse to put on uniforms.
He appealed to the students who have paid to register with the committee in order to get their uniforms.
Mr. Jok appealed to parents to work hand in hand with the administration since the running of the school “is a collective responsibility.”
He asked parents to start paying the 100-pound fee for the second semester in order for the Rumbek National School to have enough cash to run smoothly.
