ARCHDIOCESE OF JUBA RESHUFFLES PRIESTS

The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba had carried out a partial reshuffle of parish priests and assistant parish priests to accommodate new priests arriving in the archdiocese.

Vicar General Nicholas Kiri Bate told Bakhita Radio that the reshuffle was necessary to establish the Archdiocesan School of Philosophy.

Newly ordained deacon Wilson Aripa will assist Fr Arkolano Ladu and Fr Samuel Abe at the Philosophy and Minor seminaries in Rejaf and Monsignor James Ladu is the spiritual director for both institutions.

Fr Peter Karlo Nafouni leaves Kw√Ö¬°rijik to be the parish priest of St. Mary’s-Terekeka, assisted by Fr. Joseph Okanyi and Fr Clement Tombe becomes the parish-priest of Kw√Ö¬°rijik.

Fr Morris Ladu replaces Fr Charles Tombe as parish priest of St Kizito-Munuki assisted by Fr. Denis Lodu.

Fr Charles Tombe moves from St Kizito to St Joseph the Worker in Lirya as parish priest assisted by Fr Charles Lukak.

Fr Bascilio Lukudu is the new parish priest of All saints-Rejaf assisted by Fr Oliver Nyara.

Fr Terensio Wani assists Fr Thomas Igga at St Theresa’s Cathedral-Kator and Fr Peter Longoro goes to Rokon as assistant parish priest.

All the rest remain parish priests and assistant parish priests remain in their previous assignments.
