The agreements signed in Addis Abba on Thursday by South Sudan and Sudan negotiating teams represent a relief to the suffering people in both countries.

Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Adwok Kur of Khartoum told CRN that each and every single problem solved in agreements signed on Thursday were a brainteaser to the people of both countries.

He said people in both sides of the border will suffer less even though other issues remained unsolved.

The Bishop encouraged the two parties to continue with the spirit of cooperation to relieve the people of both countries.

Bishop Adwok said people expected the agreements to make the two countries live as good neighbours respecting one another and respecting the rights and dignity of their citizens.

The Catholic prelate said implementation of agreements signed on Thursday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, needs to be seen on the ground.
