Civilians are the pillars of the nation and the fight for liberation is a process that has to include civilians and armed personnel side by side.
Kumbur Payam Administrative Officer Kuku Barnaba said civilians and soldiers are bound in a very strong relationship and need one another.Mr Barnaba encouraged the community to remain determined and hopeful that peace will come with God’s blessings.
The administrator asked people who cannot bear the war situation anymore in Nuba Mountains not to defect to the Government side but go to Yida refuge camp in South Sudan.
Mr Barnaba urged the Nuba Mountains people to unite and work for the common cause.
He called on residents to support education in the region.
