The Ministry of Telecommunication and Postal Services is moving within this month to its new glass building across the White Nile in Gumbo.

Undersecretary Juma Stephen told CRN that the plan to move the Ministry to the Gumbo facilities is going on well.

He said they are waiting for furniture coming from Dubai.

The undersecretary added that the current premises housing the ministry will be used for Postal Services management and Captain Samuel Yunis Information Communication Technology Institute.

Eng Stephen explained that the relocation to Gumbo was to happen on Independence Day but it was delayed due to some minor issues.

He said the air condition system, elevators and fencing are yet to be finished.

The Undersecretary said the remaining works could delay the relocation of the Ministry of Telecommunications to September.
