A Bishop from the Episcopal Church said peace is not only the absence of guns but also service delivery.

ECS Bishop Hillary Luate Adeba of Yei said if somebody is hungry, with no clean water, no education and no security there is no peace in that person, Radio Easter reported.

He added that the desire for peace of the people for South Sudan is immeasurable but unless the people know how build it they will not have it.

Bishop Lutate said peace is important because it is good and sweet, especially after a long devastating period of war.

The ECS Bishop made the statement Monday at the Reconcile Peace Institute graduation in Yei.
