The leader of the Catholic Diocese of Malakal has called on South Sudanese to make the dreams of martyrs come true in all their thoughts and deeds.
Apostolic Administrator Roko Taban Musa said thousands of martyrs who were killed during the struggle for self-determination did not die in vain, Voice of Love reported.He said the martyrs gave their blood to set the people of South Sudan free.
Monsignor Roko urged those still fighting against South Sudan to come and build the country instead of shedding more blood after the independence.
The Apostolic Administrator made these statements during the Martyrs Day celebration in Malakal stadium.
