The UK embassy in South Sudan is running a competition for students on the Olympic Games that kick off today in London.
Primary School Students can participate by drawing A4 size pictures showing South Sudan in a community with people from countries all over the world.Secondary School Students have to write a short piece on what does it mean to be part of a Global Community, and why is tolerance for others important.
The composition Ð a story, poem, or short essay Ð should have no more than 450 words.
The top two Secondary School entries will be published on the UK Embassy website, and in a national daily newspaper.
The top five Primary School picture entries will be framed and exhibited.
All winning entrants will be invited to meet the Ambassador at the UK Embassy in Juba, and receive official London 2012 Games soft toys, footballs, sports bags and water bottles.
The deadline for entries is 12:00 on Monday 20 August 2012.
Participants have to include full name, age, town, school and a telephone number with your entry.
The entries have to be submitted to the UK Embassy in Juba.
