Bishop Akio warned citizens against misusing the cultivation days for cattle raiding and other negative activities.
He added that now the state and the nation are advocating for peace and development.
Bishop Akio discouraged people who only target to buy ready agricultural products from farmers without cultivating their own.
He said buying ready food from farmers causes food shortage in the next season.
Bishop Akio said South Sudanese lose their national dignity by depending on food imported from the neighboring countries.
He said agriculture should be the first priority in this new Country.
Eastern Equatoria state government made Fridays and Saturdays cultivation days to produce more food at home and avoid importing from the neighbouring countries.
