SOUTH SUDAN JOURNALISTS GET COMPUTER TRAINING IN YEI

At least 18 journalists from various States of South Sudan are undergoing computer training on basic radio broadcasting and programming in Yei Training Institute.

The of Norwegian People Aid, (NPA) civil society co-coordinator, Boboya James ,said the objective of the training is to equip journalists with skills of responding to effective reporting through the use of computer knowledge.

He added that a developing nation like South Sudan needs journalists trained on basic computing skills.

Mr James said through the freedom of expression, the public has come to know about over 15-20 millions dollars lost due to corruption in South Sudan.

The training will last for one month.
