The UK minister for Africa paid a visit to South Sudan to built bilateral business relations with the newest country.

Henry Bellingham told Bakhita Radio that his two-day visits enabled him to meet with the vice president and a number of ministers.

He said they discussed bilateral business relationship between South Sudan and the UK.
Mr Bellingham said South Sudan is very attractive to the UK business community due to its natural resources, vast fertile land and abundance of water.
He added that South Sudan now needs peace to attack investors.
Mr Bellingham said the resumption of negotiations between Juba and Khartoum teams was a very positive development.
He added that during his two-day visit he travelled to Jonglei state to meet Governor Kuol Manyang Juk.
