There may be a problem brewing between teachers and the education department in Twic County.
Head teachers say they need more materials in order to do their job.Pan Nyok Primary school head teacher Dut Deng told Mayardit FM they lack the tools needed to work effectively.
He is requesting the education Department provide teachers with more school materials before the heavy rains begin.
Teachers Committee Deputy Chairperson Majok Bol said teachers have been refusing to open schools while they wait for a salary increase they say was promised to them.
However Twic County Education Director Deng Chuar claims all schools in Warrap reopened on April 1, 2012.
Deng is asking teachers to be patient and use the little school materials they already have available.
