Kumbur Payam education supervisor is urging Nuba Mountains primary eight pupils who have not yet paid their sitting fees to hurry up because the days given by Kenya’s ministry of education to pay exams fees are finishing.

Kodeti C. said candidates who have not completed their sitting fees have to report to the local education office to be allowed to pay in the region office.

He said the Kenyan authority granted a second chance for the candidates who have not paid but they have to hurry up because the extension is short.

Mr Kodeti said the pupils who did not pay the sitting fees in advance would not be able to do the Kenyan P8 exam this year.

He added that due to the war situation his office has no money to assist candidates who cannot afford sitting fees.

He urged communities to do something for their pupils.

Mr Kodeti said the Kenyan education authorities gave two days extra for the pupils to finish paying their exam sitting fees.
