The South Sudan National Youth Union has strongly condemned what they called barbaric and cruel attacks by the Sudanese Armed Forces on the people and territories of the Republic of South Sudan.

In a press release obtained by Bakhita Radio, the National Youth Union wrote that the aggression by Khartoum against South Sudan is a capital crime that needs better attention from the Government and the international community.

It added that the attacks are a continued conspiracy against South Sudan since time immemorial to annex the areas rich in minerals and oil resources to the desert of Sudan.

The National Youth Union congratulated the SPLA for their brave defence of South Sudan’s territories and their continued victories against the invaders.

It called upon all sectors of society to give moral and material support to the SPLA to defend the people and soil of South Sudan.

The Union also called on the National Government and the National Legislative Assembly to provide all military logistics necessary for the SPLA to defend the country.
