Fifty children graduated yesterday in Dinka literacy in Tonj South County of Warrap State in order to spread the Word of God.

The course, organized by the Samaritan’s Purse, aimed at teaching Dinka to pupils to enable them to read and write in their mother language, Don Bosco FM reported.

Chawli Achol, the Samaritan’s area co-coordinator of Greater Bahr el Ghazal, said his charity organized the Dinka literacy course for the children to be able to read the Bible in their own language and spread the Word of God in the county.

She urged the graduates to practice the reading and writing skills they learned.

Some graduates praised and thanked Samaritan’s Purse for the initiative and promised to complete what they have learned.

The Dinka course took four months.

The participants received a certificate and one Dinka Bible each.
