A renowned Catholic boarding secondary school in Kajo Keji County is to be handed over to the Diocese of Yei by the end of this academic year.

The parish priest of Lomin, Victor Kouande, said the Comboni Comprehensive College Lomin will be fully handed over to the Diocese of Yei in the end of November, Radio Easter reported.

He added that the Diocese of Yei will have to appoint a new administration to run the College and all its assets.

Fr Kouande, a Comboni Missionary from Togo, said the diocese of Yei needs to make the necessary steps to take over the College’s administration.

He said the College needs some income generating activities for its sustainability since the Comboni Missionaries will no longer be responsible for its running after the handover.

Father Kouande made these remarks while presenting is report at the ongoing Yei Annual Diocesan meeting.
