EGYPT TO BUILD PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY IN JUBA
In a joint media briefing Deputy Health Minister, Yatta Lori Lugar, told the visiting Egyptians delegation that they are welcomed to start medical development in the newly born Republic of South Sudan. He explained that the Egyptian delegation, lead by the former health minister, was on a mission to explore opportunities of establishing local pharmaceutical industries in South Sudan
Dr Yatta added that the delegation will also look on ways to supply urgently needed drugs to the country.
The head of the Egyptian delegation, Mohamed Awad Taj said they have serious intention to cooperate with the people of South Sudan, and added the Egyptian pharmaceutical companies cover about 90 percent requirement of pharmaceutical agents and medical appliances.
Prof Taj affirmed that medical cooperation between Egypt and South Sudan will improve the quality of live in the new nation.
